I think the colour scheme of my magazine works quite well as it's extremely appropriate for the target audience of teenage girls as they would be most likely attracted to more bright and attractive colours. Although, I do think that the background colour could have looked slightly better if it were slightly lighter and faded out more to make the sell lines look more the main focus. Another positive coming from my colour scheme is that the pink and purple colours used match with my models makeup and outfit; therefore linking the full article together rather than it looking like two separate pages.
I think I could have been slightly more imaginative when thinking of positions and poses for my model to be captured in and a direct eye contact looking into the camera could have been more effective to engage readers. I also think I could have made my masthead stand out more by making it more bold and choosing a more block font, despite my font looking more fun which my audience would enjoy. I think it is most important to make the masthead stand out as it will set my magazine aside to others.
I think the product I could improve on the most is my double page spread as it probably doesn't look as realistic as my contents and front cover. Firstly, I would resize both of the smaller images on my double page spread to make them look more equal and organized on the page. I would then highlight certain words in bold, from out of the article, to make parts stand out which would interest and intrigue the reader.
